If we say we are Christians, and we belong to Christ, then we become part of the body of Christ, all believers, one family, one body. Friends if the left arm is in the fire then the right arm can surely not rejoice, but rather in desperation will reach for the left arm to pull it out as the whole body suffers.
If you think you cannot reach, then let me tell you, you can! Don’t  underestimate the power of prayer. Please pray daily for them, that they will stand faithful, that they stay fixed on the Lord God, who will comfort them at the appointed time to come. For we are not to despair, but rejoice.

EPHESIANS 6:12

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Pictured here are child refugees fleeing for their lives.

Denied food and water by these militants, many refugees (like this little girl and her family) rely on humanitarian aid to live.

Pictured here are prisoners being carried off to be executed. Men are being killed and their wives and children are being abused and killed.
After thousands of years, even before there was Islam, the indigenous Christians of Mosul, Iraq were forced to flee. They were told convert to Islam or die.

While some are able to flee as see here. The situation is being described as “HOPELESS”, “INHUMANE”, and a “HUMAN CATASTROPHE”.

SO WHAT CAN YOU DO?

The vicar of Baghdad (Andrew white-pictured here has asked that the Christian community support our brothers and sisters through prayer.

Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them, and those who are mistreated, since you also are in the body.
